“From a teenager I got so much out of being physically active that it quickly became a part of my lifestyle. The more I learned the more I wanted to share.  The health and fitness industry is such a rewarding one, I love to see the positive transformations of not only body but mindset too. Group fitness classes would be one of my favourite exercise modes, I enjoy the vibe of the music and the people all achieving the same goal together”

WHY I GOT INTO HEALTH & FITNESS
“Growing up playing all sorts of sports and loving the outdoors gave me a huge passion for health and fitness. Through my previous places of work i would often find my self counting down the hours of the day so I could get to the gym and train. After finishing my qualification in construction I decided life is too short not to follow your passion, it led me to what I was destined for and that is helping other people achieve things they didn’t  think were possible.”

My favourite meal would be bacon,eggs and baked beans on toast, KFC Also a really big fruit lover, a good orange or watermelon.

“I have a burning passion to help people succeed with their health & well-being. It has a lot do with facing and overcoming adversity and pushing your limits which is where I got hooked on the health and fitness industry. Growing up playing sports and succeeding with volleyball also sparked my interest in this industry. Being Maori and having whanau affected by heart disease has given me determination to continue striving and helping communities. Strength & Conditioning is an avenue I also have great interest in”

“I first started out on my journey purely just to lose weight not knowing the other effects Health and fitness would have on my life. My whole life I have suffered with severe asthma taking an inhaler every day sometimes before, during and after a workout. I started to lose weight but noticed significant other positive changes in my body including my skin, mood and a huge decrease in my asthma. Now I very rearly take my inhaler I exercise and eat healthy because of the huge Benefit it has in my life. I wanted to be a personal trainer to help others discover what I have and guide them to also make positive changes in their lives. “I’ve been addicted to the endorphin rush of a good workout since I was a teenager. In my 20’s, I spent so much time at the gym that I got offered a job there. I studied to become a Personal Trainer and juggled being a PT and a mum.  I am always looking for new and exciting ways to move and in turn motivate my clients. In the past I have competed in bodybuilding and marathon running. I enjoy kettle bell and suspension movements and love the challenge of functional training. I love the outdoors and enjoy running up the falls with my beloved staffy Daffy.”

“I first got into health fitness through my passion for horse riding as I wanted to be able to ride horses to the best of my abilities. I was and still am passionate about constantly improving myself physically and as a person. I always used to workout on the farm and at home but quickly fell in love with training at the gym with more equipment available and the use of weights. I now do a lot of strength training and have competed in power lifting competitions, I also enjoy high intensity circuits and love finding new exercises to try. My goal is for people to feel good physically and to feel confident. “

“Health and fitness has been a big thing for me from a young age, I was a competitive swimmer up until I was 16 so for that I had to be on top of my game with both my nutrition and training for my body to be able to perform how I would like it to. Health and fitness has so many benefits to it, i myself have been through some health problems and being fit and healthy has made it 10x better and I hardly even know I have them anymore! I started studying to be a personal trainer to show people all the great benefits that being fit and healthy has to offer. Watching and helping people grow into a better version of themselves is one of the most rewarding things! Are you ready to join the fun?!”
